Here-how you can provide extra protection to your exterior walls. Paint them with Xtracem 76 Cement Paint and watch them bright, elegant and smart with its exotic shade range. Reasonably priced, it is a lasting and reliable finish coat for exterior walls.
Surface Preparation :Before applying the cement paint coating. The surface should be thoroughly wetted 4-5 times with clean water; but should not be dripping wet. Concrete masonry wall should be wetted in one operation about an hour before application. Dense concrete should be wetted in at least to operations with 30 minutes interval in between.
Application :Loosen the content of each fresh container of XtraCem paint by rolling the poly bucket or shaking the bag before opening for the first time. Mix one part of water to 2 parts of XtraCem 76 by volume and mix it thoroughly until the mixture gets smooth creamy consistency. Thin it down by another part of water by volume and stir to this uniform consistency for application. The mixture is to be used within one hour. Apply first coat on the wall already soaked with water, which is just beginning to evaporate. After 12 to 16 hrs, apply second coat following the same procedure. Let dry overnight and sprinkle the painted surface periodically with water for 3 to 4 days. Mix only required quantity at a time. Do not add extra water while thinning, as it will adversely affect adhesion and durability of coating material. Once set should not be used.
